Saving orangutans is what it is all about.

Inuk (photos 2 & 3) is a 6 year old orangutan who until recently had her left arm chained to her neck - apparently to stop her escaping from the enclosure at a park in Indonesia Borneo, close to the border with Sarawak. Further down this blog you will find photos of Inuk with the chain in place. The Centre for Orangutan Protection sent Yenny, their vet, to release Inuk from the chain and at the same time take blood for testing against hep. A,B, C and TB.

Photos 1 & 4 show Cuplis, companion to Inuk, cautiously making friends with Yenny. Further down this Blog you will find further photos of these two orangutans.
