"Money is not a problem," palm oil CEO tells conservationists during speech defending the industry


When reading this you might want to keep in mind these meetings were paid for by the palm oil industry. Arguably a PR exercise to which they lured some conservation groups. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch.


And as I write Malaysian companies continue, as normal, to log forests and kill orangutans, etc. Nothing ever changes for the better on the ground.
