When reading this you might want to keep in mind these meetings were paid for by the palm oil industry. Arguably a PR exercise to which they lured some conservation groups. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
And as I write Malaysian companies continue, as normal, to log forests and kill orangutans, etc. Nothing ever changes for the better on the ground.
